Anti-Catholicism

#1

Wow, I’m worn out from getting sniped at by Reformed Baptists, Mormons, Seventh Day Adventists, Lutherans, Born Agains, anti-Catholic Catholics wanting women priests topped off by preachers on local mainstream talk radio bashing the Church, etc. Need to unleash a little prayer power to stop this “Death by a Thousand Cuts.” The latest vexing thing is not being able to visit and care for a sick friend because of her anti-Catholic family. People seem to relish the implicit or explicit permission to hate without guilt. Need to unleash some prayer power, first for Bonnie to heal up happily. Second, for me to correctly make some major decisions and to regain my own health. And most importantly, to pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to infill all.

Most Holy Trinity, we are thankful to be able to conjoin our suffering with Christ’s as part of the Body of Christ. Send the Father’s love to nurture us. Send the Son’s guidance to lead us to labor in that most fruitful field in health, safety and Christ’s peace. Send the Holy Spirit to grant us His gifts, especially of discernment to know when we would only be throwing pearls before swine. Keep our hearts perfectly preserved in Your love against the hardness of hearts prophesied for the latter days. Turn back the tide of innuendo, lies, abuse and negligence. May the Sacred Heart lavish us with miracles of healing of souls and bodies, minds and hearts to bring all souls to love His Church. Thanks. AMEN

I feel better already!

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

**O God,
who from among all your angels
chose the Archangel Gabriel
to announce the mystery of the Incarnation,
mercifully grant that we
who solemnly remember him on earth
may feel the benefit of his patronage in heaven,
who lives and reigns for ever and ever.

Amen. **
