I have a strong devotion to St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows (aka St. Gabriel Possenti) but I have never heard of any miracles attributed to him. Obviously if the Church canonized him a Saint then something must’ve happened? Any ideas? Thanks and God Bless! =)
can’t say that i have
I believe he miraculously cured a very sick man through his intercession.
He died very young at 24 but was studying for the prieshood with the Passionist order. He took the 4 Passionist vows and then went on to take a 5th to be ever devoted to Mary. In his short life he was also known as a great marksman and disarmed several bands of armed men at different times that were out to harm people without ever firing a shot at them, but I don’t believe this had anything to do with his canonization. He was cannonised in 1920…
He is credited for the healing of St. Gemma Galgani.
