are Catholics forbidden to marry Masons?

Can a Catholic marry a mason?

NO! Mixed marriages are not forbidden, but you need an indult.

As it isn’t another religion, I do not believe there is a hindrance, however a Catholic could not take part in Masonic activities and the Masonic spouse must be aware of the Catholic duty to raise their children in the faith, part of that faith is not partaking in the activities of secret societies.

Hope this helps

God bless

Peter
