A horse drawn usually open wagon is common of military burial, it symbolizes the men who died in battle and were removed by the cannon (wagon). Veterans desire it as a symbol of the fallen GI. In recent years more horse drawn bridals are occurring in the US due to a war in Iraq. Most have seen the late President Kennedy burial of this manner.
