Are there acceptable forms of yoga?

Hello Catholic Answers staff,

I understand that Catholics shouldn’t participate in yoga that has prayer stances as part of the exercise, but is there anything wrong with “yoga” that does not involve prayers? The provider said there would be no prayers, just stretching, relaxation, and meditation along with some soft music.

The following links should explain the Church’s teaching on yoga. If you have any further questions, please contact Catholic Answers directly.
