Arianism in the Fourth Century


A Calvinist friend claims that the Church taught Arianism for most of the fourth century. If most bishops did believe in Arianism, did they also teach it? If so, how was a Christian to know the real truth? Any and all information you can provide on this would be really helpful.



Arianism was a problem in the 4th century, but it was the Church that fought this heresy. The Council of Nicaea put the heresy to rest so that the faithful would not be confused. If you’d like to read more:
