Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death. Amen

#8

Andrew is the son of my mom’s Cursillo buddy’s cousin. The poor little guy is only 3 months old and having violent seizures.

#9

I will pray for him

#10

I’m praying for him and his family! How did he get meningitis? Was he in the hospital for something else?

#11

Entrusted him to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and asked Pope John Paul II to intercede at the Throne of God.

#12

UPDATE: no seizures overnight, and the swelling in his brain looks like it is going down, probably due to the antibiotics and anti-seizure drugs. They have isolated the bacteria as salmonella meningitis, which is rather rare, apparently.

He still has a long way to go, so keep praying!

What a sweet little thing Baby Andrew is! Thanks so much for sharing his picture with us–it helps to have a face to put with the name/intention! We will continue to pray for him and his family!

Would also like to add a prayer of thanksgiving that since the family put out the request for prayers, Andrew has not had any more seizures. Praise God!
