Bad Day

I really just had a bad day and a bad attitude. I suffer from Bi-polar so that doesn’t help and given my schedule this evening it’s not going to get any better. I just need to know that you are all out there praying for me right now.

I am praying for you. I had a bad day yesterday. Prayer and a little time to reflect helped. Tomorrow will be better, God willing.

Look on the bright side: if you are having a bad day today, its most likely that tomorrow will be much better (statistically speaking. :D)
I will pray for you. Sometimes the rough days are a bit of a test to see just how much and how long we can love and serve God. And believe me, we all have them. Keep fighting the good fight! :thumbsup:

Here’s a prayer that I’ve found for just such a day. Said on your behalf.

Heavenly Father, I awoke this morning in a bad mood, and I have been unable to shake it so far. Everything bothers me and everyone rubs me the wrong way.
I just cannot seem to get my true bearings. Help me to think of Your salvation, Your countless gifts and overwhelming love for me.
Let me relax and forget life’s cares by placing myself wholly into Your hands. Grant that this mood will soon pass and I will be able to bask in Your love and communicate it to others. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Lord, have mercy on us.
Christ have mercy on us.

Praying for you :byzsoc:

Had the same day and the same 'tude, friend. I’ll pray for you, and offer up some of my sufferings for you. Chin up; it’s a new day tomorrow.

Lord please hear our prayers for this soul. Tomorrow is another day,
a fresh start…

Holy Mother Mary, please intercede for us…
Aid the helpless,
strengthen the fearful,
hold the sorrowful,
help those sick, in pain or suffering,
comfort those needing peace,
console the lonely,
assist the lost or hopeless,
guard the unborn,
protect those in danger,
guide us from evil,
pray for those who have died.
May all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.
Amen.

Teese,

This is a beautiful prayer… and just perfect for those " OFF " days. I usually scare myself with how much the enemy enjoys our bad days and that shakes me out of it, but this is by far better because it invokes our Lord’s help

Offering a decade if the Rosary for this intention.

Hi, Boulder. Bipolar, too. Last week, I ran out of all my meds and went into withdrawal. I was in such a bad mood, I out-grumpied Grumpy Cat! :mad: I wound up in the ER, but, hey, I’m OK now. Sending some prayers out for you…

Lord Jesus Christ, You have willed that St. Dymphna should be invoked by thousands of clients as the patroness of nervous and mental disease and have brought it about that her interest in these patients should be an inspiration to and an ideal of charity throughout the world. Grant that, through the prayers of this youthful martyr of purity, those who suffer from nervous and mental illness everywhere on earth may be helped and consoled. I recommend to You in particular those for whom we now pray: Boulder257

Be pleased to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna and of Your Blessed Mother. Give those whom I recommend the patience to bear with their affliction and resignation to do Your divine will. Give them the consolation they need and especially the cure they so much desire, if it be Your will. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Thanks everyone. I can’t tell you what your prayers and thoughts mean to me.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To you do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve.
To you do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
your eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb,
Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.
Amen.

Our Father,
Who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hi,

I just recently found that prayer and bookmarked it. I just love it when I come across one that just seems to speak to me. :slight_smile:
