Battle of a discerning man... prayers please?!

I’ve decided to follow God’s will for me five months ago by seriously discerning the priesthood. I plan on going into Seminary as soon as my military enlistment is done. Being in a military environment now and failing to follow Christ dutifully through High School, I’ve fallen into a pornography/masterbation addiction. I’ve made great steps in the last five months but am still nowhere near where I’d like to be. Prayers would be amazing! Thanks and God bless!

Praying…

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God pray for us
sinners now and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end

God Bless you and the Lord keep you!

Our Father, who art in heaven…

Sure thing. I am just about to say the rosary. It will be for you.

Divine mercy prayer for you will be said…

Praying the Holy Rosary, even if decade by decade when you have time, will solve your impurity problem.

I pray for your intentions! :gopray:

Pater noster qui es in caelis:
sanctificetur Nomen Tuum;
adveniat Regnum Tuum;
fiat voluntas Tua,
sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie;
et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;
et ne nos inducas in tentationem;
sed libera nos a Malo. Amen

How do you know?

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

First off,
Thanks for your service! I know how hard these struggles can be! But, with constant prayer and intensified willpower, anything is possible with God! :slight_smile:

Best of luck to you!

Sincerely,

A fellow discerner
