Been a while

I havent been around much for a while. Hope none of you forgot about me ;). Just thought I’d update you all about my doings, especialy in regards to the TLM.

  • My city is finally getting a weekly Latin Mass starting in August (:extrahappy:), which I will be serving. Our little congregation is growing and we hope that it will expand even more as a weekly.

  • I am sad to say that I will not be able to attend the ICRSS ordinations in June as I have exams scheduled around that time, but I have been invited to the Institute’s offices over the summer to meet with Msgr. Schmitz, the American Superior. I really hope to enter for September 2008, although I may have to work for a few years to get the money for preformation and seminary.

  • My “Catholic” High School finally pushed me over the edge when a teacher told us we should be ashamed to be Catholic, so with the help of my spiritual director (a fine and very orthodox priest) I wrote a letter to the bishop.

So, how is everyone here?

So glad to have you back. How wonderful that you will be serving at a TLM. Remember all the posters when you do so and say an extra prayer for us as I know many of us here will do for you. God bless you.

Hey Caesar—that is good news about the Latin Mass. Hope your exams go well.

I am sad about the garbage that you hear at that “Catholic” school.

Hi Jon! I’ve been wondering where you were! Glad to know that your community is growing!

I won’t be able to go to the ordinations, either. No money…:o I hope your exams go well.

***YOU ***should be ashamed? Don’t they have that backward? Did you hear back from your Bishop?

Ave, Caesar! How’d that calligraphy project go?
