Bishop Peter Elliott fighting for his life

Archbishop Comensoli tweeted on 14 November: “Friends, especially in Melbourne, I ask for your prayers for our retired Auxiliary Bishop, Peter Elliott, who is fighting for his life after suffering a heart episode yesterday. May the tender Lord hold him close, and may our Blessed Mother accompany him.” Bishop Peter Elliott’s books include Ceremonies of the Modern Roman Rite, Ceremonies of the Liturgical Year and Ceremonies Explained for Servers.

Praying for Jesus to take care of Bishop Elliott. Lord have mercy on your servant the Bishop.
Holy Mary, St. Joseph, and all sainted bishops, please intercede. Thank you. Amen.

Archbishop Comensoli tweeted on 20 November 2020: “Good news update. Bishop Peter is now fully out of sedation, sitting up in bed, and talking freely and happily. Still in ICU and prognosis unknown, but thanks be to the good Lord and the dedication of his medical carers for bringing him this far. Thank you for your prayers.”

Wonderful update! Continued prayers!

Thank you Jesus! Please continue to heal Bishop Elliott!
