In the attached article, Bishop Robert Barron shares his thoughts on Pope Paul VI’s encyclical Humanae Vitae (On Human Life) which will be 50 years old in July, 2018.

Bishop Barron writes how Pope Paul foretold the consequences of turning away from the classic teaching on sex. Among these were opening “wide the way for marital infidelity and a general lowering of moral standards”, and that man may “forget the reverence due to a woman.”
