Black Lives Matter risks Premier League support loss over anti-Israel views

The U.K. Black Lives Matter (BLM) group has come under criticism from prominent figures in U.K. football after releasing statements about support for “Free Palestine” and comments about “defunding the police.”

The Black Lives Matter U.K. account tweeted: "As Israel moves forward with the annexation of the West Bank, and mainstream British politics is gagged of the right to critique Zionism, and Israel’s settler colonial pursuits, we loudly and clearly stand beside our Palestinian comrades.

“Free Palestine.”

Yeah attacking monuments is one thing, but criticizing Israel is a one way ticket to a government list.

RIP black lives matter.

At least they were ideologically consistent, and did criticize them for obvious reasons they would do so. RIP.

I agree criticizing Israel risks some of their powerful support, in UK and US, but it’s not the Big One that brings on the RIP.

Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, was a well documented White Supremacist. Her statue is in a prominent place in a national US gallery.

You will never see BLM demand its removal. Their political and financial backers would shut them down in 24 hours.

LOL yes of course, no criticism of or views antithetical to the State of Israel or Zionism for you!

Not that I support BLM.
