Born of Hope, LOTR movie

Born of Hope is a pretty entertaining independent fan-made movie, an hour-long, which explores the meeting of Aragorn’s parents and his birth. It’s set long before the Lord of the Rings events. I enjoyed the contrast between the courtly behavior of the characters and their primitive surroundings and tools. I thought the Orcs were well done.

Good thing the men descended from Numenor look good for their age as they grow old as I remember in the books Arathorn’s wife Gilraen was in her early twenties and Arathorn was nearly 60 so her parents weren’t overjoyed about the match the text noted.
