BP is billing steakholders of the blown out well for hundreds of millions of dollars to pay for the cleanup. The partners, Anadarko Petroleum Corp. and Mitsui & Co., are scrambling to find contractual loopholes that would exempt them from having to pay these costs. It’s an interesting move in light of the fact that BP, Transocean, and the men working on the rig were the only ones who knew that the annular seal had been severely breached and the backup controls for the blowout preventer weren’t operating correctly four weeks before the blowout and chose to do nothing about it.

LOL! I just noticed that. Oops. Anyone have some A1? :o
Not if BP did what I understand they did (or didn’t do). If I was Anadarko I’d sue BP for all the lost oil revenue.
