Broken Mary in Chicago

Such an appropriate story about Our Lady. There’s always hope for all. Great read!

I heard this story on Catholic radio the other day and found it really intriguing.
There’s a Japanese concept (I think it’s called wabi-sabi) where they fix broken things but don’t hide the broken parts. Like for instance they seal the broken pieces of a teacup together with gold.
It makes the object interesting and pretty.
It’s supposed to be a metaphor for how people are imperfect, but not to be discarded.
