Can a Catholic attend a non-Catholic wedding ceremony?

Is there anything in Canon Law or in the Catechism regarding Church teaching on this topic? I am invited to the weddings of two very dear friends–one is Catholic marrying a Muslim, the other is non-practicing Catholic wedding in a non-denominational rite.

The principles surrounding a Catholic attending the marriages of Catholics to non-Catholics have been answered in two recent questions-and-answers. If there is still uncertainty, given circumstances peculiar to your situations, please call Catholic Answers directly and ask to speak with an apologist. The phone number is 619-387-7200.
