Is it possible for a 36 year-old man with two small children whose marriage was annulled to become a priest if his ex-wife supports him in this endeavor? If so, how might he begin this process?
The annulment would not be an impediment to his becoming a priest. But he is a father and his children remain his chief responsibility until they are adults. Every child needs a father as well as a mother. Any man who would even consider leaving his chidlren for the seminary doesn’t sound to me to be priest material.
