Can I ask for a prayer?

Being new here, I haven’t come across a Prayer Forum or thread yet. I did a quick look-see again just now. So can I ask for prayer here?

I live in N.E. Texas, and while not in the same “boat” as Houston and others, we have been forecast bad weather. Either hurricane strength winds with rain (5 days of rain) or “only” 40-60mph winds. There are alot of trees around the houses here. Plus they’ve been doing road work, and there is a large area of dirt out front that will be a sea of mud. Please, if you would, say a little prayer that our town won’t get hit really bad. That we won’t have alot of damage. And won’t lose our electricity. There are many evacuees here already from Katrina, and now more from Rita, besides local residents.

I’m praying for everyone in the path of this storm…

Thank you!
