Can I choose as confirmation name the name of a loved one?

Is it all right to choose a confirmation name in honor of a loved one? I did this, and also took the name of the patron of scouts. Therefore, I have a double confirmation name. Edward is the name of at least ten saints, but that wasn’t entirely my intent in choosing the name.

So long as the name of a loved one or of an uncanonized person one otherwise admires is also a saint’s name, it is fine to choose that particular saint’s name in honor of the loved/admired one.
