Can I use John Paul II as a confirmation name?

I am wondering since John Paul II is “only” “Blessed John Paul II” if it is possible to use his name as a confirmation name upon entering the Catholic Church in April?

Actually, John Paul II has not yet been beatified. You can use the names John and Paul as confirmation names in honor of John Paul II, but only because they are also names for many other saints. You might want to choose a St. John and a St. Paul to honor along with John Paul II. If you do so, your confirmation name will be “John Paul,” not “John Paul II.”
