Can my daughter marry a man who won't promise to let her raise their kids Catholic?

Can my Catholic daughter marry a non-Catholic Christian who will not promise to let her raise the children Catholic? His family belongs to a non-denominational church that is very non-Catholic.

Your daughter’s boyfriend does not have to promise to let your daughter raise the children Catholic. He needs only to be informed of her obligation to practice her faith and to do her best to raise the children Catholic. Your daughter is the one who must promise to practice her faith and to do her best to raise the children Catholic. If her prospective fiance will not privately assure her that he will allow her to raise the children Catholic and will not interfere in the children’s Catholic upbringing, then it would be vastly imprudent of your daughter to agree to marry this man.
