Can we get more answers instead of links in "Ask an Apologist"?

I love this website and I love the “Ask an Apologist” forum, but I’ve noticed over the last year or maybe even two years that some of the Apologists tend to just include links to articles or threads as their “answer”.

While I know these links do address the question at hand and I appreciate being pointed to a lot of information so I can learn more, I bet many people would first prefer a direct answer to the question asked, and then would appreciate the links also being included as supplemental reading. A concise, direct answer may not be possible in all cases, but hopefully it can in many of them.

Some of us need help in formulating answers to the questions asked on this forum because when we’re asked by our friends to explain something about the Church, we’re not adept enough (yet) to consolidate information from the numerous articles you provide into a clear, concise answer our friends will understand.

Just a suggestion! Thank you!

This link should be give you the answer you need. If you have any further questions or concerns that are not answered by this link, please contact Catholic Answers directly.
