Can you explain the origins of the word Easter, why we use this word and not resurrection?

Happy Easter !
He is Risen indeed !!

I wished my sister Happy Easter !, and she replyed Happy Resurection Day !
She is a fallen away catholic and has been in a Baptist Congregation.

My Question:
Can you explain the origins of the word Easter, why we use this word and not
resurection?

God Bless,
Francis.
