Can you give me some info on the Reformation?

Good afternoon friends:

I have a protestant friend who’s a history teacher at a protestant school in Georgia, and the other day he mentioned that he was going soon teach on the subject of the Reformation.

He mentioned that he did have some Catholic students in his class, and wanted to know what my perspective was on the Reformation since he didn’t want to come across as an anti-Catholic to his Catholic students, yet he admits that he agrees with the objections Luther had.

My question … frankly I know very little about the Reformation, and would like to know what were his major objections? Were any of them valid? And today how would one respond to the objections Luther had?

I’ve been looking for an online source that lists the objections, and also provides great replies to each from a Catholic’s perspective.

Thanks so much, and God bless.

This should give you a considerable amount of information:
