Can you sin in your sleep?

Is it possible to sin while in a subconscious state? Does the Church have anything to say about this?
A hypothetical (though strange) situation would be if a kid who sleptwalked dreamed he kicked someone in his sleep. He later discovers that he actually did kick someone. With this in mind he sometimes dreams he’s going to kick someone and though he remembers in his dream that he will be doing it “for real” he still does it. When he’s awake, though, he makes a good effort to control his temper. In a situation somewhat akin to this, would a person have to go to confession?
