At what point in the Mass of canonization does a Pope make the declaration of sainthood?

Probably after the homily

Isn’t that the answer for pretty much everything the OF? lol.

It’s at the beginning of Mass, after the greeting the Pope says a few words and then the Prefect of the congregation speaks about those being canonized. Then, there is the litany of the saints. Then, the Pope makes the declaration. You can probably find some examples on youtube or elsewhere on the internet.

So the new saint is not included in the litany?
