Go to page 33 and look at the picture insert that is just before that page. Look at the side of the picture insert that shows Christ’s nativity … hold it up to the light. What do you see?

Surely not a coincidence. And notice that it comes right before page 33, the traditionally accepted age of Christ’s death. Was this simply a trick by the book’s editors? Either way, it’s a beautiful image.


I used to have that book, it was my first prayer book. I just donated it today. Almost funny, that, I think.

I think I know the image you are speaking about. There were beautiful images in that book. I hope the person who receives my old copy finds them uplifting!
