Catholic equivalent of "Everyman's Battle" book?

Does anyone know of a book or internet resource similar to the "Everyman's Battle" book which might approach the specific issue of kicking the porn habit from a strictly Catholic viewpoint?

My husband finally read "Everyman's Battle" at my request after months of trying to convince him to, but he's very skeptical of many of the recommendations and points it makes because he says it seems to be written by "born-again Christians with a different slant than many Catholics have."

I know "Theology of the Body" and "The Good News About Sex and Marriage" are definitely Catholic viewpoints and are excellent, but they don't deal solely with the porn issue.

Hi

I'm not sure of any specific books, but I know Steve Wood deals with the issue extensively on his website.....and of course I can't remember the URL :banghead:

It's the Family Life Center (I think). I'll google it and get back to you.

In Christ,

Ok, there is a book! It's called Breaking Free, by Stephen (Steve) Wood.

The website is either or (both appear to go to the same site).

Hope that helps! You and your husband will be in my prayers.

In Christ,

Thank you so much, Ellen, for the name of the book as well as the website link. I checked it out, and it looks like just the thing I need to order at this point in time for our marriage.

Also many thanks for the prayers. God bless you for your caring assistance!
