I am in favor of free will, and right choices. Is it not also playing God to take away free will from other humans? Right choices made as a result of no-choice don't really count as good jmoral choices, do they? If we all wore burkas and were as restricted as the poor women of Afghanistan, our abortion rate would probably be lower, but I'm not sure that is really how anyone wants us to get there.
You are in my prayers!
*No one "takes away free will from other humans", no one "plays God" when they correctly inform a mother that abortion is murdering a beautiful, perfect, innocent baby, not a "choice?"!
A reference to the "poor women of Afghanistan & burkahs" has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that murdering an innocent baby is always a grave evil as the Catholic Church has always taught us!
**"Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. **This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law:
You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish.
God, the Lord of life, has entrusted to men the noble mission of safeguarding life, and men must carry it out in a manner worthy of themselves. Life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception: abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes." (CCC 2271).
i am so happy your mother didn't fall for the lies the the "pro-choice" crowd has spewed & that she didn't abort you, even though it would have been easier for her in the short term!
*ABORTION IS NOTHING MORE THAN A MODERN EXPLOITATION OF INNOCENT WOMEN BY EVIL MEN FOR THEIR PERSONAL PLEASURE & FOR FINANCIAL GAIN!
