Chaldean synod prays for peace, urges priests to return [CC]


The bishops of the Chaldean Catholic Church, an Eastern Catholic church in full communion with the Holy See, have concluded a six-day synod in Erbil, Iraq.



Chaldean priests outside the US are allowed to Marry, the Eastern Rite Priests are allowed to Marry. Celibacy in the Catholic Faith is a discipline not a doctrine. With the alarming decline of young men becoming priests is it time that Rome allow Priests to Marry ?
