Perhaps for the same reason you do. Or perhaps not.
In part it speaks volumes about rejecting the normal way Mass is celebrated in this country and largely stands as a symbol of rejection of things I value. It’s much the same kind of symbol as a priest wearing a cassock or the ordinary of the Mass being in Latin. If you like it, that’s great. But I don’t and would check out other parishes.
And don’t bother to tell me that these things are allowed. I know they are. It’s a matter of preference and my preference is different.
