Christ Pantocrator translation?

Hi all,

I visited the house of Mary in Ephesus Turkey last week and picked up the Christ Pantocrator from near by. I was wondering if anyone can translate the Greek in the book Christ is holding? In the following link, you will see the exact image of the icon i purchased, so if anyone could assist in translating the Greek, I would appreciate it.

Anyone? I’m trying to understand the Greek in realtion to what scripture it represents.

I am no Greek scholar. But you might fair better if you post this thread in the Eastern Catholicism forum. Lots of Greeks over there

It’s from John 11.

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die."
