Whenever I have had questions/issues, everyone on this forum (at least nearly everyone) has been great about it so I am helping people can help me out with a questions about Church authority. Can someone, in terms that can be easily understood, explain to me the difference between Church doctrine that is infallible and Church teachings that are not infallible? How does the Church make that distinction? Also, does the Church teach infallibility on issues not directly addressed by Jesus? Like contraception for instance?
