Closing arguments in Michigan trial on "gay-marriage ban"

#1

A decision from Detroit federal Judge Bernard Friedman won’t come Friday. He’s expected to release it in the days ahead.

The trial has been dominated by different views from scholars about the welfare of children raised by same-sex parents. Two Detroit-area women are trying to convince the judge that there’s no “rational” basis under law for Michigan to ban same-sex marriage.

Jayne Rowse and April DeBoer of Hazel Park have been together for eight years. They’re raising three adopted children who have special needs, but they can’t jointly adopt each other’s kids because they’re not married. That could cause problems if one of the women dies.

What a court hath old England of folly and sin
Spite of Chatham and Camden, Barre, Burkes, Wilks and Glynn
(George Stevens, 1775)

Originally, the lawsuit challenged Michigan’s adoption laws that prevent unmarried couples from adopting.

Judge Friedman encouraged the two sodomites to go further and challenge Michigan’s same-sex marriage ban.

So a Federal Judge gets personally involved in a case and then gets to decide the case?

Who’s really the plaintiff here?

And it’s not a marriage ban; it’s a Pro-Family, Pro-Marriage state constitutional amendment and protects marriage from being turned into a Liberal sodomite farce; a state constitution is the highest form of state law.

However, now I feel it was a poor misguided legal strategy to try and pass Pro-Family, Pro-Marriage state constitutional amendments.

The Michigan state legislature (and most of the other state legislatures in the nation) would never have got involved in gay marriage in a million years.

There really was no compelling need for this state constitutional amendment to be passed.

But most people thought they were doing something good for the state by voting for the constitutional amendment back in 2004. It was voted into constitutional law in Michigan by 59% of the voters.

Now, all it just took Federal Judge Bernard Friedman to scheme with two sodomites to make a constitutional legal case and then keep it on his docket and overturn the general will and strike down this state constitutional amendment democratically passed by 59% of Michigan citizens who voted in 2004 and legalize sodomite marriage and impose their extreme radical views on the majority of the citizenry of Michigan.

The states are supposed to be Laboratories of Democracy; not run and controlled by a couple of individual dictator elites who dictate from the top down to the People.

A Gang of Three.

We have Lenins and Stalins and Tyrants of our own.

News Media will again claim America approves of sodomite marriages when this decision is issued soon (I bet it will be this weekend in time for St. Patrick’s Day) when in reality it was dictated into law by one lousy U.S. Federal Judge.

Phony so called “rights” for a group of individuals who claim phony so called “minority” protected status. There’s no right to engage in these types of perverted sexual acts between persons of the same sex.

The proper way to change the law in favor of sodomite marriage would be to gather petitions, and get the measure voted into law repealing the Protection of traditional Marriage Constitutional Amendment.

Not legal shenanigans and shell games.

All of the above is my opinion.

Dear Jesus, bless our intellect. Grant that it may be purged of all false beliefs and all misunderstandings of human sexuality, and that the good angels may flood our intellects with thoughts that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and gracious. “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things” (Phil 4:8). Hail Mary…

(Sorry, I regret I won’t have the time to personally respond to anyone on this thread).
