Co-worker with Cancer, Please Pray

#1

A co-worker of mine was recently diagnosed with Stage 1 Ovarian Cancer. She has had surgery and they think they have it all. She will enter Chemo soon. Please pray for her rapid recovery, as well as for the doctors and nurses who will treat her.

She is a very good woman, who organizes Christmas drives for the poor in our community in our office, and you can just tell she is an intelligent, and caring woman.

God Bless you all.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Will pray for your friend…

God bless you Frank for appreciating your co-worker and for asking our prayers for her.
It sounds hopeful.
I pray that her healing will go well and that cancer not recur.
Bless her Lord. Please give her complete recovery, and deepen her charity and her faith in You.

Gentlest St. Rita, wife, mother, widow, and nun, I entrust Frankr409’s co-worker to your patronage. You, who understnad the very human nature of being a woman and how our bodies are intrinsic to our nature, please help her to hold on to Faith to get her through this tim, until the Divine Physician restores her to health. May she get the best care, and have support of others to deal with the long-reaching effects of this. We ask the Father with you through Jesus our Lord, Amen.

I am praying for your intentions.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
(Frank’s co-worker)

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.
Amen.

Jesus please be with her in her battle against this cancer and grant her all the love and support that she needs.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers. I got a note from my co-worker the other day via e-mail that she has started the chemotherapy treatment and she is doing fine. She said she is beginning to feel better and is looking forward to getting back to work.

Thanks again so much for your prayers.

I wanted to give a small update, my co-worker, Mariellen, returned to the office today for a day of work.

She has been through a tremendous ordeal. I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers, and ask for continued prayer as the Chemo will continue.

Mariellen is such a saint, her first thing she did when she saw me today, was to hand me some birthday cards to sign for OTHER employee’s. She organizes our care packages at Christmas for the poor.

She had lost quite a bit of hair from the chemo, looked very frail and frankly, as I write this, I am in tears.

Thank you for your prayers…

Frank
