Who was singing about the Islamic faith? BTW, as we and the Muslims worship the same God (if you believe the Catechism), what is wrong in saying, "there is no truth except God (allah in arabic)."?
CCC#841 is taken out of context (and really, should be removed or fleshed out), and a thorough reading of the pertinent documents, as well as that annoying thing called actual history, and multiple scripture citations totally disagree.
When you say there is no truth but allah, you are saying it in the context of mohammedan understanding = no Jesus as redeemer, no crucifixion, no resurrection, Gnostic themes throughout, paganism version 2.0, and what appears to be mohammed being tricked throughout by an evil spirit if indeed he saw an "angel of light".
The shahada, "there is no god but allah and mohammed is his messenger" totally denies Christ.
He who hath not the Son, the same hath not the Father.
They merely profess, that doesn't mean they do or profess truth even.
In other words, I'm now the King of America where we pour coca-cola just like vintage wine. I said it, so it must be true.
Good on this student. Glad to see Mesa County still has men in their borders.
