Could you please answer my question by this evening?

I have a question about something that has been bothering me. I am a male teenager, and a few days ago, after I had taken a bath, I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked at my body and my “private part”. I touched my private part, not for sexual pleasure though. I wasn’t masturbating, but I was observing it. Was this a sin? Do I need to tell the priest about this in confession? I know this question may sound really wierd, but thanks so much for your help!

Dear J,

No, such examination is not a sin.
