:o …Not sure where to post this, but… what’s meant by the term “third degree relic”?
Thanks.

#2

Third class relics, are items that have touched the body or tomb of the saint.

Third class relics, are items that have touched the body or tomb of the saint.

**Or any other second or third class relic.

A second class relic is something the saint used during his/her lifetime.**

OK, I should’ve just went to the Catholic Encyclopedia to begin with.

First class = parts of the saints body

Second class = clothing or anything used during the saints life

Third = any other object that has been touched to the first class relic
