Daily Prayer June 21, 2009–Father’s Day

Dear God, bless all the fathers in the world. Guide them to be good role models and loving to all their children. Help them to be a father like You are. Give them grace and patience to handle difficult situations in a loving way. Amen.

The Angelus **

The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary and she conceived of the Holy Spirit . . .

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord: Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

And the Word was made Flesh: And dwelt among us.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

"And the angel being come in, said unto her:
Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee:
blessed art thou among women."
Luke 1:28
:bible1:

"And she cried out with a loud voice, and said:
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb."

Luke 1:42:bible1:

Dear Lord, I offer a prayer to You… for the repose of the souls of my dearly loved (and much missed) father, Russell; Grandfathers, Gordon and Charles; and God-father, Howard.

May all of them rest in Your Love, O Lord.

And may ALL fathers living and deceased receive Your abundant blessings… today, and always. Amen.
