Former New Orleans Saints player Darren Sharper and two alleged accomplices were indicted today in a rape investigation that began earlier this year.
…Sharper was indicted on two counts of aggravated rape and one count of simple rape.
His alleged accomplice, Erik Nunez, was indicted on two counts of aggravated rape and one count of obstruction of justice.
Another person tied to the investigation, Brandon Licciardi – a St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s deputy, was indicted on three counts of human trafficking, one count of aggravated rape and obstruction of justice.
Sharper is in jail in California on separate rape charges from incidents that took place there and in Arizona.
