Democratic convention

Democrats on Wednesday announced that three starlets of the pro-choice movement will be featured at the convention, an event that will now drive the liberal charge that the Republicans are anti-women.

Democrats said that they will feature Cecile Richards, president of the Planned Parent Action Fund, Nancy Keenan, president of the NARAL Pro-Choice America and Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown University student whose plea for federal birth control funding drew the ire…

And people are worried about the Republican platform not making an exception for the life of the mother?.

Pro abortion political action funds donating to Democratic party candidates, and are given a speaking slot at the convention?

Sounds legit!

Obama campaign are concerned about the women’s vote and probably want to recreate the war on women myth

Suspect none of the pro abortion speakers will mention the word abortion

Oh yes, It’s gonna be a rip-roarin’ good time for all!

And here’s the opening act:

Radical Islam Joins the DNC

Cecile Richards–president of the Planned Parent Action Fund
Nancy Keenan–president of the NARAL Pro-Choice America
Sandra Fluke–Georgetown University student advocate of government paid birth control

Yes, this is today’s Democratic Party

That’s a veritable “who’s who” of authentic Christian teachings.

Is it too soon to remind everyone that voting in accordance with such ideas is not something a Catholic should do? The denial of life trumps all other considerations. These women may never utter the word “abortion” but they will advocate both contraception and abortion in order to facilitate their lifestyle.

I know that some persons, under the banner of “Social Justice”, will point to programs for the poor offsetting the grave evil that is abortion, and thus state that their vote is for those things, not for abortion, and justify their vote that way. I’ve seen this before, and I’ve heard this before.

To any such persons I will always reply that Jesus said WE were obligated to do charity, to help the poor, feed the hungry, cloth the naked, visit the sick and those in prison. He never said we should outsource our personal obligation to the government which will then forcibly extract that “charity” from everyone. It’s no longer charity then. Charity only exists in a state of voluntary giving.

Genuine philanthropy is done in person, not through the lens of a telescope.

I think we can be reasonably certain that every single speaker in the Democrat convention will be pro-abortion. If they were prolife, they wouldn’t be Democrats.

The party of death!

Better to say, “if they were pro-life, they wouldn’t be invited to speak.” Even at the convention, numerous delegates, but not enough, would be anti-abortion.

And they sure wouldn’t be speaking at their convention.

Maybe. Maybe not.

i wonder if any of them will defend the current president’s belief that children born alive after an attempted abortion can be denied medical care.

I think they’ll fight shy of that one. Even NARAL didn’t back Obama on it.

Not yet, but if he is reelected…

Will Sandra Fluke be the Democratic nominee in 2016?

Naw… She’ll still be in college.

Obama In 2003: I’m Pro-Choice Including Late Term/Partial Birth Abortions

and post-partum.

don’t think i will be wasting my time watching any of the democrat convention.

i need to watch my blood pressure and listening to their speakers may not be beneficial to my health!

i am just glad that i left the democrat party back in the 90’s. i have nothing in common with that party anymore and i am not sure that i ever really did.

To open the convention various renditions of the opening scene from MacBeth are being
rehearsed. Traditional, contemporary and forward looking.

Warning. Not for the feint of heart!
