Did an unfallen Mary suffer labor pain?

Would it be correct to assume that Mary, in her preserved state of grace, unfallen from original sin, would not have suffered labor pain while giving birth to Jesus? If original sin brought suffering into the world, we see that Mary “suffered” at the cross with Jesus. How could she experience suffering, if she was preserved from original sin?
