Did Constantine change the Sabbath Day to Sunday in honor of the sun?

Did Constantine change the Sabbath Day to Sunday? (He was a pagan who worshiped the sun as a god).

Also, why is it in the Catechism of the Catholic Church 2174, in the second paragraph is it said “we gather on the day of the sun,”. What does this mean? Are we in some way worshiping the sun? (I know we aren’t but thats what the text says).

This verse alarmed me because I immediately thought, “what if this person claiming the Catholic Church is pagan is actually true?”.
