Did Jesus have to be married?

I was reading an article about Jesus having to be married because He was called Rabbi. The Author was promoting a new book about a lost First Century Gospel where Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene. The major claim, aside from this Gospel, was that since all Rabbis had to be married in order to be called Rabbi, and Our Lord was called Rabbi, that he must have been married.
