DIY executions: before recent developments could you, morally, be your own executioner?


This just doesn’t appear to be a thing in the Western tradition. Japan is the only place I’ve found where it happened. I think Judeo-Christian values would be in opposition to this concept of self-execution, so no, I don’t think you could make the case where this execution by suicide would ever be morally allowed.
