Do Evangelicals have the power to interpret the Bible infallibly?

Need help with Evangelicals who claim they can intrepret the Bible infallibly.

But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 1Jo 2:20

They take this passage to mean they have the power of the Holy Spirit to infallibly intrepret the Bible. Please help me.

Dear Chrisg,

“By their fruits you shall know them.” (Mt 7:16) If these good people have the power from the Holy Spirit to infallibly interpret Sacred Scripture, then why, oh why are there thousands of separate Christian sects all claiming that same infallible power and yet hold conflicting interpretations? Truth is one—not many. The Holy Spirit does not contradict Himself.
