Do saints exercise discretion when interceding for us?

Do saints exercise discretion and prudence when interceding for us? In other words, might they decline to intercede if our petition is unwise or unknowingly asks for evil?

If so, does the saint’s discretion utilize a share of God’s Omniscience or just that particular saint’s personal wisdom?

The Saints would not intercede on behalf of a prayer, nor would God grant a prayer, that would lead to a greater evil. Sometimes the answer to our prayers is: No.
