Like many others, I walk daily. I had open knee surgery last year to fix a dislocated kneecap; walking is part of the (interminable ) rehabilitation.
I aim to walk at least half an hour nonstop each day. If I have the time, I’ll embark on a one-hour Nordic walk. Nordic walking is my exercise preference - well, I’d actually prefer to cross-country ski but there’s rarely enough snow on the ground for that in these here parts - but I don’t always have the time to suit up for it then shower and redress afterwards.
I used to run, including trail running which is mega-awesome , but I’ve sustained so many lower body joint injuries over the years that I think that era is now over.
