Anybody who knows me KNOWS I am Catholic (cradle to grave–womb to tomb): our house has a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the front flower bed, we have a sign on our door with Catholic images that says “we are a Catholic Family”, there are Catholic religious pictures, crucifixes & small statues throughout my home, my scapular is only off of my neck when I bathe, my purse is about 45%-50% Catholic items(prayer books, prayers cards, Rosary), the top shelf on my book shelf is all Catholic books, pamphlets and Catholic materials, Our table right now has the Advent wreath and we have our Jesse Tree up.
I attend Mass every weekend & Holy Day of Obligation as well as twice during the week, go to Holy Hour of Adoration once a week, go to weekly Bible Study, I read at Mass, am a Sacristan and help clean the fonts and water the plants at Church weekly.
My daily devotions are the Rosary, Liturgy of the Hours and personal prayer time with Our Lord FIRST thing in the morning. We say the Blessing as a family before meals.
Also I try to share my faith each and every chance I get with others.
I started doing this a year or so ago on all of the things I mail I write on the envelope: God Bless the USA, In God We Trust, Choose Life, Peace On Earth and J.M.J.
Also when we pass in front of or on the side of a Catholic Church we make the sign of the cross because Our Lord is there and we are honoring Him.
But most of all I try my very best to LIVE my Catholic Faith. It is a constant work in progress but I try.
I have a bumper sticker from our Bible Study group on the back of our vehicle.
Although I can be hypocritical at times—praying and acting one way around certain people and then when I get around my family NOT talking very charitably to them. This is something I need to work GREATLY on.
